Animal Control

Animal Control in Trenton is contracted with the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.

Trenton requires all dogs to be registered with the City every year. A year license runs from January-December and renewals are every year in January, February, & March. Starting in April you will receive a late fee unless it is for a new dog or a dog just moving into the city.
Animal Licensing/Fees:
Spayed or Neutered $5
All other: $10
Late Fee (after March 31st): $20
Replacement Tag: $5
Impound fee-
–(first impound)- $30.00
–(second impound) – $60.00
–(third impound)- $90.00
Daily Charge for boarding- $5.00
Euthanization fee- $
Unlicensed dogs-
–(first notice) -n/c if licensed within 2 weeks
–(second notice-$75 with 10 day compliance
–(third notice)- impound

Proof of rabies vacination is required.

Applications are to be submitted to the Town Clerk.
